Everything students and parents ask us before booking an intro call. If yours is not here, ask it on the call.
Every student who has worked with StreetBound Prep has signed a summer analyst offer. We take on a limited group each cycle so that every mentee gets the hours the process actually demands. What we commit to is the work itself, honest feedback about where you actually stand, and a mentor who has sat on the other side of the desk.
Many of our students do. Non-target recruiting is a timing and volume problem far more than a pedigree problem. It means starting earlier, networking harder, and being sharper technically than the candidate with the school name behind them. That is exactly what our process is built around.
Our mentors are former investment bankers and current private equity professionals who spent years at well-known banks and have been on the other side of the process. Each of them served as a recruiting captain at their firm, so they know precisely how candidates are screened, evaluated and selected, and how to guide you to an offer as efficiently as possible.
Our mentors are available for one-on-one sessions, for as few or as many hours as you need. We build each session around your timeline, whether that means preparing for an upcoming interview, working through a specific technical concept, or anything in between. Most of our mentees meet weekly to stay on top of their recruiting cycle.
Earlier than most students expect. Applications for junior-summer internships now open as early as the fall of sophomore year, and several banks run separate early-insight and diversity programs the spring before that. Most junior-summer seats are filled by the spring of sophomore year, though that does not mean you are out of luck if you are starting later. Book an intro call and we will walk you through the current timeline in full.
Not necessarily. Off-cycle analyst seats, boutiques, and full-time openings created by reneges run well past the main cycle. It is a different strategy, and on the intro call we will tell you honestly what the odds look like and map out a plan to land a seat.
